Tell us how you met your significant other…
While I was still attending college in Georgia, I came up to George Mason for the weekend to visit my brother, who is on the hockey team there. He took me to one of the hockey team parties and Brian and I ended up playing beer pong together. Not much came from it until I attended an away game and Brian took a slap shot off the ear. He used his injury as a way to wiggle his way in to ask my mom for Advil and we ended up exchanging numbers.
What do you enjoy doing together the most?
Going on adventures! Brian is very spontaneous and I love to travel, which has made for some pretty great trips. We went to Iceland this past winter and ended up glacier hiking, visiting waterfalls, and a lot of really scary night driving.
What was your first impression of each other?
Stephanie: Obviously his good looks!
Brian: This girl is a bombshell and actually has a brain, don’t screw this up!
Tell us about a favorite memory that you shared together.
Last summer, Brian and I took our first vacation together to Cancun. We ended up out on a boat in the middle of absolutely nowhere, to swim with whale sharks. Our captain asked which couple wanted to go first and Brian’s hand was the first to shoot up and volunteer us. He held my hand and we jumped in together. It was an amazing experience!
What do you like the most about each other?
Stephanie: Brian is hilarious. He can always make me laugh even when I’m having the worst day.
Brian: She really cares about me and for me. I can take care of myself, but having her there means the world to me. I love being around her, even if we are just limping around the house.
If you could describe your relationship in 3 words, what would they be?
One Crazy Adventure.
